Let's go with: Walk, Learn, and Give: Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Yolo County

Join Thriving Pink this October for PINKtober, our annual campaign during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Together, we raise awareness, build community, and create local impact for breast cancer Thrivers in Yolo County.

1 in 8 women and approximately 1 in 700 men will face breast cancer in their lifetime. This year, Thriving Pink celebrates 10 years of impact, with over $431,000 in individual grants awarded and more than 500 workshops and support offerings, all at no cost to participants.

All month: Every Mikuni location is offering an oyster appetizer and two white wines, with a percentage of proceeds benefiting Thriving Pink.

Friday, October 9: Dutch Bros donates $1 per drink at locations in Davis, Dixon, Woodland, and West Sacramento.

Saturday, October 10, 10:30 AM–12:30 PM: Breast Cancer & Nanoplastics, a free educational event with the UC Davis Women's Cancer Care and Research (WeCARE) Program. Veterans Memorial Center, 203 E. 14th St., Davis.

Saturday, October 17, 10 AM: Thrivers' Walk at Northstar Park, 3434 Anderson Rd., Davis. Meet at the pond. Come as you are, and bring family and friends. More events are happening all month.
