WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) – The Athletics (A's) and UC Davis welcomed students, alumni, faculty, staff, families and supporters to Sutter Health Park for “UC Davis Night at the A’s,” celebrating an evening of baseball and Aggie pride ahead of the new academic year.
WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) – The Athletics (A's) and UC Davis welcomed students, alumni, faculty, staff, families and supporters to Sutter Health Park for “UC Davis Night at the A’s,” celebrating an evening of baseball and Aggie pride ahead of the new academic year.
The evening showcased the strong partnership between the Athletics and UC Davis, two organizations committed to creating meaningful experiences that connect students, alumni, families and fans across the greater Sacramento region.
The celebration began with Assistant Vice Chancellor & Executive Director of the Cal Aggie Alumni Association, Dana Allen throwing the ceremonial first pitch, followed by an evening of America’s favorite pastime.
Throughout the evening, fans showed their A’s and Aggie pride in gold, while those who purchased the exclusive “UC Davis Night at the A’s” ticket package received a limited-edition co-branded A’s and UC Davis hat, commemorating the partnership and the evening's celebration.
“UC Davis Night at the A’s” is one of several community partnership events hosted by the Athletics as part of the club's commitment to celebrating the schools, organizations and communities that make Northern California unique.
Through these partnerships, the Athletics continue creating opportunities for people to connect, celebrate local pride and enjoy the game of baseball together.
