WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) – On July 19, retired firefighter, small business owner and longtime community leader Dave Jans announced that he has received the official endorsement of Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522 in his campaign for West Sacramento City Council.

The endorsement highlights Jans’ deep, lifelong commitment to public safety. Having spent his career on the front lines protecting lives and property as a firefighter, Jans brings an unmatched, firsthand understanding of the vital resources, training and support our emergency responders need to keep West Sacramento neighborhoods safe.

Jans, who has called West Sacramento home for nearly 25 years, has built his campaign around practical, community-first solutions, with public safety serving as a central pillar of his platform.
