WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Scott Moak of West Sacramento has been named to the board of directors for United Way California Capital Region.
Moak brings 18 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and is a trained marriage and family therapist.
Now in his sixth season as vice-president with Sacramento Republic FC, Moak previously served as executive director of the Sacramento Kings Foundation.
The voice of the Sacramento Kings since 2002, Moak is featured in NBA2K (2022 to 2025). He also co-hosts Studio40 Live on Fox40 and founded Rau Moak Partners, a boutique branding consultancy.
Moak is the longest-serving commissioner on the First 5 Sacramento Commission.
He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California, Davis and a master's degree in marriage and family therapy from University of Phoenix.
Moak is one of six community leaders across the region who joined United Way's board of directors last month.
