WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The Washington Unified School District (WUSD) is proud to celebrate the incredible work of their school librarians.
Behind the scenes, this dedicated team has been collaborating and planning together all year to ensure that every student across our campuses receives consistent, high-quality library support. By attending Bureau of Education and Research (BER) trainings and engaging in ongoing professional development focused on technology integration, our librarians are equipping themselves with the latest tools and strategies to support student learning.
Their commitment to working as a united team directly aligns with the district’s equity-focused strategic plan, which emphasizes collaboration, student engagement and the integration of technology to empower every learner. By fostering engaging library programs and supporting teachers and students with innovative resources, our librarians are helping to create safe, inclusive and academically rich environments districtwide.
The Washington Unified School District thanks their librarians for the dedication to excellence, equity and student engagement. The teamwork and innovation they provide are helping to prepare students for success in a rapidly changing world.
