YOLO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - The Yolo Community Foundation celebrated the honorees for the annual Yolo Philanthropy Awards, recognizing the extraordinary individuals and organizations who made a significant impact in Yolo County.

This year, more than 50 local nonprofit organizations came together to honor the volunteers and donors who generously contributed their time, talent and resources to better the community. This represented tremendous growth from the previous year, increasing from 32 honorees in 2023 to more than 50 in 2024.

The Yolo Philanthropy Awards took place on Nov. 19 at the California Agriculture Museum. Doors opened at 4 p.m. followed by a celebration and reception. This event was made possible by title sponsor Nugget Markets, and supporting sponsors Recology, Sutter Health, Edward Jones Office of Matt Yancey, and the Evelyn & Walter Haas Jr. Fund.

“We were incredibly inspired by the honorees of the Yolo Philanthropy Awards,” said Jessica Hubbard, executive director of the Yolo Community Foundation. “Their dedication uplifted our community and enabled nonprofit organizations to continue their impactful work for Yolo County.
