WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Kids 10 and under can join us for a jolly good time!

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8762 will hold their annual Children’s Christmas Party from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 905 Drever St. in West Sacramento. There will be fun for everyone between the ages of 2 and 10 with face painting, crafts, treats, snacks and a special visit from Santa.

The children come in at 1 p.m., and the Veterans of Foreign Wars will hand them gift bags (filled with treats, small toys and an apple or orange). Then they can go into the hall, where we have various crafts like coloring, scratch-off ornaments, building bead ornaments and a face-painting station.

Snacks will be available for the parents and children (cookies, juice, donuts and others). Santa will come in and sit for pictures with the children. Gifts will be given to everyone (up to 80 children).

Note: We only have gifts for ages up to 10 years old.
