SACRAMENTO REGION, CA (MPG) - Tour the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area with an experienced field trip leader!

Tours are held on the third Sunday of each month and are a fantastic opportunity to explore local wetlands, learn about wildlife and native plants and interact with other community members who share similar interests. View flooded seasonal and permanent wetlands, native grasslands and young riparian forests. Depending on the season, look for migrating and resident waterfowl, shorebirds, songbirds, raptors, and wading birds.

Tours run rain or shine from 9 a.m. to noon, on the third Sunday of each month, except in instances of flooding. Tours do not run in July, August, and September. Tours meet at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area Headquarters (45211 County Road 32B). Registration required.
