Witness this experimental, award-winning group of performers as they explore mental health, ancestry, family, and love, through the creation of our one-person shows - it’s a unique glimpse into our stories-in-progress, and we would love for you to be part of the artistic adventure!
“I love how our different styles have all come together so beautifully,” founder AndYes (David Loret de Mola) said. “We put so much care into having each showcase be deep yet nurturing.”
Under the vision of director Nicole C. Limón, founder of Matriarchy Theatre and Theatres of Color), this diverse collective shatters artistic boundaries. On our cast of accomplished performers is two-time finalist of the College Union Poetry Slam Invitational (CUPSI) Nigerian-American poet Natachi Mez; Cuban-American spoken word champion of Sacramento AndYes; and award-winning filmmaker Jorge Quintana.
Joining them is the internationally renowned multi-faceted National Poetry Slam representative Isaac Torres; acclaimed poet JRowe who has graced stages like the Democratic National Convention and the Women of the World Poetry Slam; and the powerful artistry of Ms. Moxiebrain’s music and storytelling. Together, they address crucial issues like women's empowerment, mental health, and self-actualization with their distinct creative blends and styles.
Expect an unforgettable exploration of love, identity, and humanity through this powerful lens. Witness the depth and brilliance of artistic expression at its finest, masterminded by Limón and brought to life by this diverse and talented group.
