What Happened to Denny’s?

Recently, members of the West Sacramento community have shown up at Denny’s off of Harbor Avenue only to find that it was closed down. It took a little doing, but the News Ledger finally received the following statement from Denny’s Corporate about the closure: “The West Sacramento location you referenced did close, and we appreciate the guests who called this their Denny’s for many years. We have eight other Denny’s in the greater Sacramento area, with the closest one located at 300 Bercut Drive in Sacramento. In speaking with the operations team, they shared that the COVID-19 pandemic altered the traffic patterns of the trade area, which had an impact on business. We are in the process of looking for another location.”
