Orchard Hospital Receives Grant for Youth Psychiatric Facility

Dec 09, 2022 12:00AM ● By Orchard Hospital News Release

GRIDLEY, CA (MPG) - Orchard Hospital has received a grant totaling $51,675.00 from North Valley Community Foundation and the Butte Strong Fund. These funds will fill the gaps between government funding for the more than $8 million youth psychiatric healthcare facility project.

Orchard Hospital Adolescent Services will improve equitable access to behavioral healthcare by providing a much-needed facility to Butte County. Guaranteeing access to services regardless of payor source or ability to pay.

By offering proactive care and early intervention during the developmental stage of adolescence, Orchard will prevent mental health crises that could eventually result in homelessness, job loss, and even chemical dependency.

For more information about the Orchard Hospital Adolescent Services project, please contact Julie A. Bunn–Foundation, Grants and Community Outreach Coordinator at Orchard Hospital.
