WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The Yolo Community Foundation (YCF) has announced the creation of the All Things Right & Relevant Foundation, an endowed fund that it holds.

This endowment launched with an initial gift of $1.3 million and will make grants to support career development for those living with mental health diagnoses, with an emphasis on programs that create and maintain supported employment positions. The first round of grants from the fund will launch in early 2025.

For more than 30 years, All Things Right & Relevant, the beloved Davis-based consignment and thrift store, raised funds for local mental health agencies and provided supported employment to Yolo County residents living with mental illnesses. Over the years, All Things Right & Relevant raised more than $500,000 for local nonprofit organizations and offered supported employment to more than 50 local residents.

All Things Right & Relevant closed earlier this year, due to shifting trends in the retail market. Friends of Allied Nonprofits, the nonprofit organization behind the All Things Right & Relevant store, established the endowed fund with proceeds from the sale of the store’s building.

“All Things Right & Relevant is grateful to continue its legacy through the Yolo Community Foundation,” said Friends of Allied Nonprofits Board President Nancy Temple.  “Our endowment through them will generate funds for mental health causes into perpetuity.”

Foundation representatives invite community members to honor All Things Right & Relevant’s decades of service and support its ongoing impact with a gift to the All Things Right & Relevant Foundation fund. To donate, visit online www.sacregcf.org/rightandrelevant
