WEST SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - The West Sacramento Community Center will have a Senior Resource Fair from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 17 in celebration of Older Americans Month. The fair will provide essential resources and support to seniors in the community.

The Senior Resource Fair will feature a wide range of vital resources designed to enhance the well-being and quality of life for older adults. Attendees can expect Senior Support Services, where they can access information and guidance on a variety of senior-focused programs and services available locally.

Seniors can also learn about health and wellness. Explore wellness workshops, health screenings and resources to promote healthy living and active aging.

Attendees can get free Via rides. Receive a complimentary Via rideshare code (srfair2024) to facilitate transportation to and from the event.

At the event will be an Older Americans Month Proclamation. Witness the proclamation ceremony, highlighting the contributions and achievements of older Americans in the community.

There will also be light snacks. Enjoy refreshments and networking opportunities with fellow attendees and community partners.

The Senior Resource Fair will be at the West Sacramento Community Center, 1075 West Capitol Ave.
